Buxton ABC fighters in entertaining bouts

Buxton Amateur Boxing Club (ABC) lightweight Adam Sircar recorded a well-deserved victory during an all-action contest in Solihull.

Against home-town opponent T. Tarkyn over four rounds, Sircar participated in a hard-fought contest, with the Buxton boxer looking to get his shots off and stay active.

Sircar went out to capitalise on his lead in the final round, using shot variation and movement against a capable and well-schooled opponent, as Sircar took a well-deserved win on the judges cards.

Josh Chapman stepped up for his second bout with less a couple of hours notice, demonstrating once again terrific heart and fitness to run his opponent close in a tough junior novice battle.

Despite a narrow defeat on points, this was a good learning bout for Chapman.
