The annual event, organised by the DSSA, recognises those who have excelled in school sport or sport outside of school.

There is also a Special Award, for media and arts contribution to school sport, which recognises individuals and groups who have produced exceptional work such as photography, film, written reports, music or dance in relation to school sport.
In the Individual Achievement, Team Achievement and Young Leaders / Ambassadors categories awards will be divided into primary and secondary school categories, as well as a disability category.
Karen Shopland, chair of DSSA, said: “We have so much sporting talent within Derbyshire schools, in a wide range of sports, and the awards are a great way to celebrate these achievements.”
