HIGH Peak riders were in action recently at Wirral 100 Motor Club’s Anglesey Coastal circuit.
Among the competitors were Buxton’s Sebastian Brooke, and Sean Healy and Jerry Woodall, both from New Mills, who took to the track in the Pre Injection Class.
Brooke secured a fourth-place finish, as well as a sixth place and two ninth places, in addition to acquiring four signatures to his national licence.
After a fall in his opening race, Woodall recovered to secure 13th, 14th and 11th in his next outings, while Healy shrugged off mechanical problems to finish a race in 11th and acquire a signature towards his own national licence.
A fifth-place finish, and two sixth places, were the highlight for Dove Holes’ Tony Limer in the 400cc class, and he followed this up with two 21st-place finishes in the F600 class.
Also competing in the F600 class were Buxton riders Neil Addy (13th, 11th, 18th, 13th) and Martyn Green (24th, 18th, DNF, 21st). Another High Peak rider, Chris Smith, recorded finishes of 16th, 17th, 16th and 22nd.
Racing in the Powerbike class, Phil Worthington finished his races in seventh, eighth and ninth place, with one DNF.
