Jack Massey will return to the ring later this year, after being confirmed on the undercard of an English title fight.
The unbeaten Chapel cruiserweight will feature on the bill of the Jon Kays-Lee Glover English super-featherweight title clash on Saturday March 8 at Oldham Sports Centre.
Twenty-year-old Massey has a 100 per cent record after getting his career in the paid ranks off to a flier.
He recorded wins over Jody Meikle, Will Burkin and Tommy Gifford during 2013 and is now aiming to make the next step up.
Massey’s trainer Bobby Rimmer recently told the Advertiser that Jack can go all the way.
He said: “I think Jack’s doing great. It’s easy to forget he’s only just turned pro. There’s no doubt he can reach the top.”
