A record total of 262 runners took part, with Dark Peak runner Stuart Bond breaking the course record to finish in 40 minutes and 58 seconds.
In the women’s event, Totley’s Laura Gibson shaved a minute off the previous record to win in 50 minutes and 34 seconds.
The first Hope local to finish was Paul Sutton, in an impressive 54 minutes and 34 seconds.
In the junior race, Goyt Valley’s Alistair Waits was the first boy home in nine minutes and ten seconds, while Rhiannon Davies, of Hope Valley Hurricanes, was the first girl across the line in a time of ten minutes and 24 seconds.
Presentations were made by Hope local Bob Randles, who won the first ever race in 1946.
