BUXTON Seconds made it three wins and three clean sheets with victory over Ramgarhia.

Early pressure was rewarded when winger Drennan scored, courtesy of a pass from defender J Clayton.

The Bucks’ defence was outstanding, with keeper Balderstone hardly touching the ball, while Buxton doubled their lead before half-time when Houghton’s shot was illegally stopped on the line, and Sewell made no mistake from the ensuing penalty stroke.

Striker Sam Meaton, returning from injury, ran riot in the second half, scoring a hat-trick.

His first came from an attack down the right wing by Houghton, while the second was scored from close range after linking up with striker Talbot. The third goal was the result of a brilliant run down the left flank by M Lomas, with Meaton scoring with a delicate reverse-stick chip at the near post.
