• The Grindleford Gallop is a 21-mile-race around some of the Peak District’s most beautiful spots.

It is the primary fundraising event for the Grindleford Parent, Teachers and Friends Association (PTA).

Over the years it has helped to subsidise school trips for pupils, built a trim trail in the playground and funded the purchase staging facilities for school productions.

The event is a major date in the village calendar with residents and local businesses providing support.
