HIGH Peak Gymnastics Club recently hosted their annual interschool competition.

The event was attended by gymnasts from High Peak and Tameside, representing the schools which they attended.

Results

Infants Competition - Floor: gold, New Mills and Taxal and Fernilee; silver, Dove Holes, Litton, Whaley Bridge and Buxton Infants; bronze, Burbage and St Annes. Vault: gold, New Mills and Taxal and Fernilee; silver, Dove Holes, Litton, Whaley Bridge and Buxton Infants; bronze, Burbage and St Annes. Overall Team: New Mills and Taxal and Fernilee. Individual winners - Floor, Emma Beattie, New Mills; Vault, James Cowan and Will Pickering, Taxal and Fernilee. Overall Individual Winner, Emma Beattie, New Mills.

Junior Competition - Floor: gold, Stayhill and Greenside; silver, Chapel; bronze, St Annes and Grindleford. Senior Competition - Floor: gold, New Mills and St Thomas More; silver, Buxton Community School; bronze, Mossley Hollins, Longdendale and Stockport Grammar.
