High Peak Netball Club’s under-16s travelled to Derby recently to play their final game in the Derbyshire League against Ripley.
Ripley quickly took control of the game with High Peak getting few shooting opportunities and by the first quarter they were trailing 10-2.
The second quarter was a similar story with Ripley dominating enough to lead 18-4 at the half-time break.
High Peak never gave up though and the defence fought on bravely in the remaining two quarters before eventually going down 12-33.
High Peak finished third in the five-team league, having won two and lost two of their matches.
Ripley and Pennine now progress through to the regional latter stages, where they will represent Derbyshire.
