High Peak Cruiserweight Jack Massey steps back into the ring tonight (Friday) looking to extend his record to three wins out of three.
Twenty-year-old Massey lines up against Tommy Gifford at the Winter Gardens in Blackpool on the undercard of the Jack Arnfield v Max Maxwell headlined bill.
It was less than a month ago that Chapel-based Massey recorded his second professional win against Will Burkin in Bolton.
Now he is aiming for a quick turnaround and a third successive win as he looks to maintain his unbeaten record.
Dad David Massey said: “Jack was back in the gym the week after the last fight against Burkin.
“He feels a lot fitter this time around and he’s been upping his runs and sprints in preparation.”
It has also been revealed that Massey is contracted to three fights in early 2014, all on Sky Sports shows.
See next week’s Advertiser for full fight reaction.
