GEORGE and Phillip Biggin have kept it in the family at Chapel-en-le-Frith Golf Club.

The Titmas Plate has been passed from son to father this year. George, who won the Plate last year with a net score of 68 at the tender age of just 13, was beaten this year by his father Phillip, with a net score of 69.

Titmas Plate - Division One: Phil Biggin, 82-13=69; Lee Street, 75-6=69. Division Two: Martin Smith, 90-18=72; Rob Little, 90-16=74. Division Three: Wayne Howden, 92-25=67; Steve Cox, 91-21=70.

Ladies results - Sir Alfred Law Trophy: 1st, Julie Woolley, 149 net; 2nd, Pat Dean, 152 net.
