SEVEN days after taking his first victory in the British Supersport Championship, High Peak’s Christian Iddon was back on the top step of the podium at the home of British motorsport, Silverstone.

Iddon timed his move perfectly to take another magnificent win in the sprint race, before tyre issues restricted him to third place in the feature race.

“It’s been another great weekend for the Oxford TAG Triumph team,” stated Iddon, from Little Hayfield. “We are on a bit of a roll at the moment; with both Coop (Richard Cooper) and I on the podium. The whole team works hard all year so that we can deliver results like these.

“We move on to the final round of the year at Brands Hatch now, where hopefully we can continue to challenge for some more podiums.

“We have gone OK in the previous races there this season and we will certainly be giving it our best shot.”
