Gymnasts play it cool with medal haul in ‘Jack Frost’ competition

High Peak Gymnastics Club travelled to Preston at the weekend to take part in the Jack Frost Invitational 2011 competition.

Over 256 gymnasts from 12 gymnastics clubs competed on five pieces - vault, tumble, range and conditioning, bars and trampette - at the event arranged by Flic Flac Gymnastics Club.

The gymnasts had trained hard for the competition and were rewarded for their efforts.

Medal winners included: Freya Baker, 4th trampette, 4th range and conditioning; Jaymie Gautier, 1st range and conditioning; Leah Kidd, 1st tumble; Tom Morris, 4th tumble; Jaden Baker, 1st tumble, 2nd vault; Jessica Wing, 4th tumble, 2nd vault, 3rd trampette; Jackson Smith, 2nd trampette; Emily Theyer, 4th tumble, 3rd range and conditioning, 4th trampette; Jade Prior, 4th range and conditioning, 3rd tumble; Kia Baker, 2nd range and conditioning, 3rd vault; Leeane Bryer, 4th range and conditioning, 1st trampette; Megan Plant, 3rd bars, 3rd trampette, 1st vault; Katie Padden, 3rd range and conditioning; Jessica Donnelly, 1st range and conditioning, 3rd tumble; Daisy Dalton, 4th trampette, 4th range and conditioning, 4th vault.
