Time is quickly running out for entries to Glossop Kinder Velo Cycling Club’s ‘High Peak Hog’ 2014.

The challenging event has this year increased the maximum number of entries to 300 - but there were only a handful of places left last night (Monday).

The ‘High Peak Hog’ offers riders two possible route options - the half-hog is 50 miles whilst the whole hog is 83 miles (riders decide their route on the day).

The whole hog route packs in nine major climbs totalling over 9,000 feet of climbing.

The half hog meanwhile, takes in the Snake Pass and Holme Moss routes.

The event takes place on Sunday, May 11. Visit glossopkindervelo.co.uk for more.
