A field of 140 enjoyed superb weather on the magnificent and challenging Chapel-en-le-Frith golf course at their annual Seniors Four-Ball Better Ball Competition last week.

Kip Wake, who helped organise the event, expressed his delight that so many visitors came to the event and they won nine out of the ten prizes.

First prize, £150 of John Lewis Vouchers, went to Mark Walker (Matlock GC) and Clive Young (Dore and Totley GC), who scored 47 Stableford Points

Second prize was awarded to Bill Graham (Bramhall GC) and Alisdair Grant (Chapel GC) on 46 points.

The club has a number of Open Competitions during the year and visitors will receive a warm welcome.
