Jason Bennett was the first Buxton AC runner to finish in the strenuous 16-mile Kinder Trog fell race, at Hayfield.
Bennett came home in 17th place thanks to a time of two hours, 17 minutes and seven seconds.
Following him home was Mark Halsey in 2.43.06, Jo Bednall – who was first female over-45 – in 2.47.16, Pete Bailey 2.49.06, Richard Bouglas 3.00.04, Bev Golden 3.30.58 and Helen Brunt 3.31.20.
The race covers 3,500 feet of climbing.
Pete Bailey was in action again at the ‘Fun on the Fells’ race, finishing 15th (1st Male Vet over-50), again held out of Hayfield, while his son Alfie came home in a respectable 25th place.
At the BlackaMoor Chase six-mile fell race from Totley, Richard Bouglas was the first Buxton runner home in 55.50 over the 10K course, while Jo Bednall finished in 56.25, Pete Bailey 56.47, Alfie Bailey 1.00.50 and Bev Golden 1.09.31.
Jo was again in action at the Grindleford 4.5 mile fell race, recording a time of 42 minutes, 39 seconds.
Several Club Members took part in the 5K Inter-Inns road race held at Tideswell, where Ben Light claimed second place in 18.29, junior Louis Forshaw-Perring was third in 18.47 and Bryan McKenna fifth in 19.13.
At the latest Staffordshire Moorlands Summer Series race over the scenic Roaches, Neil Wainwright finished the six-mile course in 47.50.
Not far behind him was Mark Halsey 49.13, Sheila Bradley 54.37 (First female over-55), while in the junior race Will Tighe was first home.
