Buxton air rifle shooter Elizabeth Gould travelled to Oldenburg, Germany recently with the GB Junior Rifle squad.
Whilst there, she competed in her first precision and small bore point 22 competition, lasting three days.
Day one was a 40 shot precision match, with Gould scoring 394/400, missing out on the final by 0.5 and coming ninth overall.
Day two in a .22 three position match, she scored 535/600 and came seventh.
Day three was a 40 shot air match and Gould scored 394.1/400 coming in fourth whilst in the 60 shot .22 prone match she scored 568/600 and came fifth.
Her .22 team match grabbed a bronze medal on day two.
In May, She went to the West Midlands Open at Aldersley, Birmingham and with scores of 347 and 351/400 she won the Sporter Gold Medal.
In August, Elizabeth will be shooting at the Junior International at Bisley, Surrey, where she will defend and hope to improve on her superb silver medal from last time.
