BUXTON FC manager John Reed has left the club by mutual consent after four-and-a-half seasons in charge.
His departure was announced after last night’s (Tuesday) 1-0 win at Brigg Town in The Doodson Sport Cup Third Round.
Reed took over at the Silverlands in 2007 and led the Bucks to the play-off final in his first season.
He also led the club to victory in the Derbyshire Senior Cup for the first time in more than 20 years.
The club is hoping to appoint an interim manager immediately.
