Buxton boss Martin McIntosh insists the re-signing of Spencer Harris will provide a welcome boost to the Bucks.
Harris rejoined the club earlier this month after departing Skrill North side Guiseley AFC.
The former Huddersfield Town player showed his flexibility, as well as an eye for goal, during Saturday’s 2-2 draw with Marine in which he scored a terrific volley to put the Bucks 2-1 up at one stage.
Harris was deployed in midfield despite being a recognised centre-half.
McIntosh said: “There’s been a new manager come in at Guiseley and I think he’s wanting to bring in his own players. Because of that I think Spencer wanted to come back here.
“That’s certainly our gain because I like him; he’s adaptable as either a centre-half or in central midfield so that’s a big plus for us.”
