Reed’s quick-fire double sees Bucks into First Round of FA Trophy

BUXTON FC will discover this lunchtime who they will face in the First Round Proper of the FA Carlsberg Trophy following Saturday’s 2-0 win at Stamford AFC.

A first-half brace from Mark Reed ensured the Bucks their place in the national stage of the competition for the first time since the late 1980s.

The result also sees the club pocket £4,000 in prize money from the FA.
