Carlos and Danny bag a brace of club awards
THE CURTAIN came down on New Mills AFC's season when the club held its Annual Presentation Night.
Players, officials, fans and supporters gathered at the clubhouse last Friday to recognise the achievements of the club's three teams over the past season.
Carlos Meakin - the first team's leading goalscorer - picked up the Supporters' Player of the Year. Meakin also shared the Players' Player of the Year with Danny Jackson, who picked up the Manager's Player of the Year.
Manager Tony Hancock and his assistant Paul Kirkham, who have since left the club, were awarded the Phil Hampson Memorial Trophy.
In the Reserves team, James Elmore received the Manager's Player of the Year award, while Scott Barron picked up the Players' Player of the Year award.
Youth team players Mike Kennedy and Danny Christie were jointly awarded the Manager's Player of the Year award, as were Josh Casulli and Mike Halliwell with the Players' Player of the Year award.
