Buxton 1 Kendal Town 2
BUXTON were made to pay for a late penalty miss after a battling second-half display from Kendal Town saw the visitors score twice in three minutes.
In the first half Buxton had the best of the opening exchanges and took a deserved lead through Michael Towey on 25 minutes.
But from the start of the second-half the visitors were a different team.
They were soon back on level terms through Scott Harries after 54 minutes and just three minutes later he scored their second.
On 88 minutes it looked as if Buxton would earn themselves a draw but Lee Morris’s penalty was saved.
