ANOTHER week passed without a ball being kicked in the Baris North Midlands’ Under-19 League.

Weather permitting, Buxton travel to Basford United on Monday in Division Two (kick-off 7.45pm).

Basford are potential Division Two champions, but Buxton could be a dark horse with games in hand.

Derbyshire rivals and fellow Division Two side Matlock travel to Nottingham to face West Bridgford the following Thursday. Matlock have games in hand and might just have the edge – but they are yet to win away this season. Bridgford’s form of late, meanwhile, has been erratic.
