Innes returns to boost Millers’ squad

Following the departure of midfielder Chris Curley to Salford City, the Millers have boosted their squad with the addition of Mark Innes and Kristian Cox.

Innes, who requires very little introduction to the Church Lane faithful, returns from Mossley for whom he signed for during the summer.

Nineteen-year-old Cox was released in the summer by Port Vale after completing his apprenticeship at Vale Park.

Although primarily seen as a right-winger, Cox can also play in a central striking role and had a brief taste of league football, making his debut for Vale in January when they lost 2-1 at Crewe.
