Buxton will be hoping that the Silverlands pitch can beat the weather as they aim to finally stop the rot of defeats this Saturday.

Martin McIntosh’s team have lost their last six league outings, seven in all competitions, with the latest reverse coming during last weekend at Skelmersdale United.

With snow hitting the High Peak area earlier this week, the visit of King’s Lynn on Saturday has been thrown into doubt.

The club are advising supporters to continue checking their Twitter page for the latest updates regarding the pitch condition.

Meanwhile, McIntosh gave a debut to Stuart Ludlam at Skelmersdale last week, after the defender arrived from Sheffield FC.

Alastair Taylor and Josh Davies also debuted.
