Barraclough’s late header salvages a point for struggling Bucks

BRADLEY Barraclough’s last-gasp equaliser against high-flying Northwich Victoria earned Buxton FC a vital point on Saturday in their bid for Evo-Stik Premier Division survival.

Jordan Johnson had opened the scoring for the hosts on 65 minutes, before Barraclough’s 90th-minute header restored parity for the strugglers.

Saturday’s Evo-Stik Division One South fixture between New Mills and Brigg Town was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch, as was Glossop North End’s North West Counties League Premier Division clash at Silsden.
