Buxton Under-10s made a magnificent start to their NoDe campaign with two highly impressive wins.

The Buxton youngsters played two matches in a tournament at Wirksworth and returned from the day with two wins, scoring 18 goals in the process and conceding none.

In their opening match against Matlock, the Bucks dominated midfield as they swept to a 7-0 win.

Dominic Cusco led the way with a hat-trick and there were two goals for Alfie Bunting.

The other goals came from Harry Martin and Sol Gilbride.

In the second match against Derwent, Buxton’s defence of Tilly McCahill, Megan Schofield and Ollie Hewison remained untroubled.

Wingers Alfie Bunting and Harry Martin made good of the space and George Hoodith battled hard up front.

Goals came constantly as Buxton hit double figures in an 11-0 win.

Dominic Cuso continued his superb form with six to take his tally on the say to nine.

The other goals came from Sol Gilbride (2), Alfie Bunting (2) and Harry Martin.
