P.U.M.A./New Century Taekwon-Do hauled in the trophies from the Battle of Britain fight night.
New Century squad bagged 20 trophies at the Welsh Championships held in Cardiff:

Buxton School Blackbelt Alison Gartside took Gold in both Sparring and Patterns.

At the English Championships at Swindon the squad took 20 trophies. Alison took Silver in both Sparring and Patterns with fellow student Thomas Wedgwood taking Gold in High Kick and Silver in Sparring.
Proud Instructor Dennis Salt was pleased his students had done well: 'The Buxton School has lots of talent."

The Battle of Britain held in Chippenham featured the top 20 fighters each from P.U.M.A., Evolution and A.P.T.I. All three organisations put up a team of their best five boys, girls, men and women. P.U.M.A emerged triumphant winning all divisions.

New Century had four fighters, Carly Atkinson, Ashley Atkinson, Marie Udall and Stacey Weatherer.

On the same day as the Battle of Britain New Century also managed to put on two demos, the first being at Longnor School and then onto Westwood High at Leek. Thanks go to team leader Adrian Williams and all who took part.
