LETTER: You haven't got a clue about Cavendish Hospital

So the Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) and Hardwick CCG cannot come to a decision about what to do with Cavendish Hospital until January next year.

So it will take seven months to decide.

It seems to me they are a bunch of brainless buffoons who could not organise a booze up in a brewery.

They should leave things as they are, because all local people know they would not get patients to Walton Hospital at Chesterfield when Buxton gets cut off during the winter weather.

Haven’t they got the sense to see this or do they live in cloud cuckoo land? It honestly beggar’s belief that they can’t make their minds up.

Where are these 44 beds going to be if the Cavendish closes? They still have not told us, so it certainly makes you think they have not got a clue what to do.

Listen to what ‘Joe Public’ says because they know. 8,000 Bakewell people can’t be wrong with their petition to keep Newholme Hospital, so I suggest they scrap the idiotic proposal and do the jobs they are paid to do, and stop poking their noses into things that don’t concern them when they do not live in Buxton.

The people of Buxton know what is best for Buxton, not interfering people who know nothing about the area.
