LETTER: Council has a moral duty to resolve lorry situation

editorial image

I am writing to express my objections to the constant use by Lomas lorries being driven down the narrow residential road known as Queens Road in Buxton.

I am not a resident there but my daughter and her family are. I stay with her frequently.

I do not know how they tolerate the constant noise pollution and vibrations shaking the windows and doors of their homes, week in, week out, year in, year out.

I think the council have a moral duty to resolve this long standing problem and in so doing restore the mental and physical health of the long suffering ratepaying residents of Queens Road, Buxton.
