Young to have say on jobs help

Under 25’s across the High Peak are being encouraged to have their say on the jobs market, what help they need or what they found helpful in finding work.

The Big Lottery has funding for projects or ideas to help tackle youth unemployment and partners across the county are developing an application to the charity, with ideas and concerns of young people at the heart of any submission.

Cllr Godfrey Claff, from High Peak Borough Council, said the economic climate had particularly had an impact on young people. “We want to ensure that the views of the people from High Peak are heard.”
