Young dancers celebrate success

Talented young High peak dancers have been celebrating after Buxton Opera House announced the juvenile troupe of dancers for this year’s pantomime, Jack and The Beanstalk.

Those chosen celebrated with a picture in Buxton Community School’s Gothic Hall, where they have been rehearsing.

In total twenty young people have been chosen to perform on alternate dates of Jack and The Beanstalk which runs from December 11 to January 3.

This year’s pantomime stars Steve Nallon, who is best known for his legendary impersonations of Margaret Thatcher and other political figures in the 1980s satirical TV show Spitting Image.

Also appearing is Joseph Elliott, renowned for his role as Cook in CBeebies popular series Swashbuckle.
