FARMING is being celebrated in Wormhill with an agricultural theme for the 61st Well Dressing Festival.
Running until Sunday, September 2, this year the event sees two wells dressed, together with an exhibition and floral display in the church.
The main well is the Brierley Memorial Well and there is a smaller well dressing in the churchyard dressed by the younger members of the community.
An exhibition of old photographs and vintage hand tools is currently on display in the church.
During the festival, refreshments are served each day in the Village Hall from 11am to 5pm.
A blessing service was held at the weekend led by Graham Hinds, the agricultural chaplain, with guest speaker Tony Favell, Chair of the Peak Park District National Park.
