The East Midlands should see another dry and fine day today (Wednesday August 24) with some thundery rain possible later
After an early mist, the Met Office has forecast a dry day with bright or sunny spells.
Cloud thickening to give some localised rain later, possibly thundery. Winds light and with onshore breezes developing coasts will remain cooler.
Into tonight, rain may affect some areas for a time, but it should be a dry end to the night for much of the region, with winds remaining light.
