Warning after fuel thefts in High Peak

Police are urging motorists to be vigilant after a series of diesel thefts in the High Peak.

A number of lorries have been targeted in the area, with businesses and individuals being encouraged to report any incidents of fuel thefts to police as soon as possible.

In addition, a number of vehicles in Bamford have had their fuel tanks drilled and diesel drained.

Anyone with any information, or who has been offered diesel for sale, should contact Derbyshire police on the non-emergency number 101.
