Buxton and District Volunteer Centre are celebrating their 30th Anniversary this year an appeal to the public to help them mark the achievement.
Since 1982 it has been helping provide volunteers to support vulnerable people and has seen its community services develop, including transporting people to hospital and medical appointments; supporting people who need home care services; and doing odd jobs for people who have had no one else to turn to for help.
Staff and the Management Committee would like to hear from anyone who has any interesting information or stories about the service that they would like to share with them.
Any memorabilia and stories will then be used to help make a living history to help the Volunteer Centre to celebrate their anniversary during National Volunteers Week which is from June 1 to 7.
If you have any information or stories then please contact the Centre on Eagle Parade, on 01298 23970 or email firstname.lastname@example.org .
