Volunteer’s mountain rescue equipment stolen from Bradwell

Police are appealing for information after thieves stole Mountain Rescue equipment that was used by a volunteer in Bradwell.

Overnight between 11pm on Friday, May 13 and 7am the following morning, offenders stole a Karrimor rucksack from the boot of a silver BMW that was parked along Granby Road.

The large black bag contained various kit that was used by the owner as part of their duties as a volunteer with the Mountain Rescue Service. This included a Mountain Rescue vest, a badged orange first aid kit, a knife, a compass and a torch, all vital tools for the charity.
