Village pub’s air ambulance event

The event, being held at The Anchor in Tideswell, will feature something for everyone, and is taking place on Friday June 20.

Starting at 4pm and continuing until dark, there will be a barbecue, live band, craft market, bouncy castle, games, raffle and a balloon race.

But local people are being encouraged to help out.

Organisers are currently looking for people to have a craft stall, or a stall selling homemade items. There is no charge for stalls, just a £10 refundable deposit to book. Stalls already booked for the event will be selling items ranging from handbags to cakes.

Raffle prizes have so far been donated by a variety of companies and organisations including Losehill House Hotel and Spa, East Lodge Hotel, Midland Railway and Speedwell Cavern.

But a grand prize for the balloon race is still needed.
