A Peak District festival served up a feast of fun for foodie fans on Saturday.

Billed as an annual celebration of great food and drink, Tideswell Food Festival featured a range of artisan stalls scattered throughout the village, promoting produce from local, county-wide and regional producers.

As well as sampling the tasty culinary treats on offer, visitors who braved the damp conditions were also treated to demonstrations, children’s entertainment and music from the likes of Tideswell Band, Tideswell Singers and Tideswell Male Voice Choir.

A festival spokesperson said: “Thanks to everyone who made Saturday’s food festival a great success; the stall-holders, entertainers, local traders, volunteers and villagers! Despite the weather, a fantastic day!”
