VIDEO: Like a puppet on a string

Buxton tots went on a magical trip to an enchanted forest on Thursday, all without leaving the bandstand.

The children were treated to a show from Mr Marzipan and friends in the Pavilion Gardens, as part of the annual Buxton Puppet Festival.

The play, where the young audience could take part with puppets and instruments, was one of several on offer across the town centre.

The festival ends tomorrow (Saturday) but there’s still time to catch A Bag of Ancient Greeks tonight (Friday) at 7.30pm at the Pavilion Arts Centre Studio, and Jack and the Beanstalk at 2pm and Sleeping Beauty at 4pm both at Paupers Pit tomorrow.
