Two teens arrested after car is hit with golf club in Buxton

Police in Buxton have arrested two teenagers after they received reports of a car being damaged with a golf club in the town.

Officers were called at around 1.15am yesterday morning (Thursday, December 17) following reports of two men with golf clubs along Crowstones in Buxton.

One of the teenagers allegedly hit the wing mirror of a white Toyota Hiace caravan with the club, causing damage.

Two teenagers, aged 16 and 19-years-old were arrested by officers and later questioned.

The 16-year-old apologised for the damaged caused and offered to pay for the repair. He received a caution from officers and was released.
