Crews were called out to a tent fire at Lightwood reservoir last night and ended up putting out two separate fires.

The call came on Saturday night, June 18 at nearly 7.30pm to help put out a small tent fire that was alight.

After the crew from Buxton turned up and extinguished the fire with one hose reel jet they spotted a small fire in the derelict pump house which was put out with a water back pack.

The police were also on the scene but say there was no criminal damage to the building and the crew left at 19.53pm.
