People concerned about the proposed A6-Manchester Airport Relief Road are invited to air their views during a public meeting in High Lane.
The meeting, organised by High Lane Residents’ Association, will be held in High Lane Village Hall on Monday August 19, starting at 6pm.
The proposed airport relief road would link the A6 at Hazel Grove to the eastern end of the existing A555 at Woodford Road, Bramhall, and from the western end of the existing A555 at Wilmslow Road, Handforth, to the airport.
The meeting will be attended by members of the South East Manchester Multi-Modal Strategy (SEMMMS), who are heading up the project.
Anyone wishing to ask questions on the night are asked to submit them in advance to High Lane Library, or pass them on to a High Lane Residents’ Association committee member.
A second phase of consultation over the scheme - including an exhibition at Disley Community Centre - concluded on July 19.
