A motorcyclist was airlifted to hospital after suffering multiple injuries in a collision in Longnor on Saturday.
West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to Top House, Barrow Moor, Longnor at approximately 4.30pm.
An ambulance, a rapid response vehicle, a community first responder and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Staffordshire were dispatched to the scene.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “On arrival at the scene crews found a motorcyclist who had come off his bike after he had reportedly been in collision with a road sign.
“The motorcyclist, a man in his mid 20’s, had been out riding with a group of friends when the incident happened.”
He was treated on the scene for multiple injuries including fractures to his leg and pelvis and a dislocated shoulder before being airlifted to University Hospital of North Staffordshire for further assessment and specialist treatment.
