A High Peak woman is preparing to take a leap of faith this weekend to raise money for the hospital which is caring for her poorly nephew.
Vikki Marshall is joining eight other people for a sky-dive on Sunday to raise money for Sheffield Children’s Hospital, where her seven-year-old nephew Harvey has been treated for the last few years.
Little Harvey suffers from a number of complex medical conditions and has spent most of his life in hospital. His conditions are so complex that doctors are unable to give him a diagnosis.
Friends and family have spent the last few months fundraising for the special equipment and accessories needed to get Harvey back to his Furness Vale home, and a number of local residents and businesses have also supported the fundraising.
