MEMBERS of the National Trust High Peak Centre have raised £1,000 in support of a new exhibition at Lyme Park.
The money, collected during a series of fund-raising events, has helped stage the ‘Winter with Beatrix Potter’ exhibition, which is running throughout the winter season at the Disley attraction.
David Morgan, Lyme Park’s General Manager, said: “We would like to thank the centre’s members for their very generous donation which has helped us to stage this exciting exhibition. We’re sure it will be enjoyed by many visitors over the next few months.”
John Cassidy, Chairman of the National Trust High Peak Centre, added: “We have a long-term commitment to Lyme Park, and this is part of the strategy of local centres supporting local houses and estates.”
