This year’s summer holidays are going to be a memorable experience for young people living in the High Peak with over 200 events and activities planned.
The programme, called Pure Summer, has been drawn up by High Peak Community Housing, Derbyshire County Council Youth Services, High Peak Borough Council, Derbyshire Police, N-Gage, St Phillip Howard Sports Centre, Glossopdale Community College, Gamesley Villa, Little Learners and Buxton Juniors Football Club.
Three leaflets have been produced to cover the Glossopdale, Central High Peak and Buxton areas.
All of the activities are available at a minimal cost and a small number are free of charge.
The majority of activities are available to young people to just turn up on the day.
These leaflets are freely available at each of the partner’s sites and have been promoted in local schools.
