Community Speed Watch volunteers and police from the local Safer Neighbourhood policing teams (SNT) are continuing to check traffic in the area.
Over the past two weeks they carried out checks in Litton and Bradwell.
Five motorists were picked up breaking the 40mph limit on the B6049 Stretfield Mill stretch in Bradwell and 13 drivers were found speeding along the 30mph main road through Litton.
Drivers caught during a Community Speed Watch session are sent a letter about the check to raise awareness of the local limits, as well as to inform them that if they continue to speed they risk a fine and penalty points on their driving licence.
Data which is recorded through the scheme may also help officers to identify locations for future speed enforcement checks.
