‘Signalling fault’ affects airport journeys

Holidaymakers from High Peak heading to Manchester Airport by train are being warned to allow extra time for their journeys due to a signalling fault.

Rail services between Manchester Airport and Manchester Piccadilly are facing delays of up to 60 minutes.

The disruption is due to a signalling problem at Manchester Airport which is disrupting services to and from the station.
