Former pupils from Buxton College Grammar School are appealing for their old classmates to come forward so they can be invited to a forthcoming reunion.

The event, which will take place on Saturday June 4 at Buxton Community School on Temple Road, will be a chance for the school’s ‘class of 72’ to get together to take stock and swap stories.

Organiser, Mick Lampard, says they have managed to contact most who now live abroad but have been having trouble contacting those who stayed in the Buxton area.

The names they are still looking to trace are Alistair Watson, Andrew Hatfield, Andrew Marshall, Barry Clabby, Chris Burton, Chris Smith, Colin Jackson, David Bland, David Smith, David Tuck, David Wibberley, Geoff Tyndall, Ian Mabbott, Ian Morley, John Bramwell, John Greenfield, Kenneth Norton, Kevin Parkin, Nigel Plant, Peter Nutten, Peter St John, Peter Clayton, Peter Simpson, Philip Straker, Philip Wade, Richard Arrowsmith, Robert Leigh (Fenna) and Robert Lowe.
